The inspiration for Haute Chocolate began in the summer of 2007 when Terysa needed a suit for a round of pageant interviews. She was unable to find anything that spoke to her inner designer. With a little over a month and a half to spare, she put together a few sketches with her mother and they began sourcing fabric and sewing the garment. Pageant contestants are perceived to be catty in nature, but it was there, where she received the most compliments and even impressed the National Pageant director, requesting that she design the opening number for the Teen Pageant the following year. Not only was this her first order, but it was also the birth of the Haute Chocolate Collection by Glam R Us.
In 2008, Glam R Us began recreating celebrity inspired dresses and gained a consistent customer base. Ever since it's launch, we've been thrilling fashion lovers with our charming, fun pieces. But always on a constant search for something more, Terysa wanted to create something entirely her own. With that mission, Glam R Us hopes that with the launch of the Haute Chocolate Collection we will gain new customers and keep our loyal customers coming back for more.
